Enjoying Winter(Open)

Evangeline had been enjoying the Winter so far.She loved snow,and didn't mind the cold.Of course she was cold at times,but she secretly enjoyed it.And when the weather was like this,she had an excuse about her hands always being cold.Whatever season,Evangeline's hands would always be cold,and it made her angry.People would flinch away whenever she touched them,and that didn't help much.

Deciding to take a walk,Evangeline wrapped her cloak around her,pulling the hood over her head.Her brown curls fell lightly on her shoulders,while her dress was getting white with snow.She didn't mind it.

Making her way over to the Quidditch Pitch,Eva thought about the Quidditch Meeting they had.The Slytherin Captain,Symon,was a charming boy,but too harsh.She was afraid that if she made it into the team,he would treat her badly.And a Lord's daughter deserved better than to be treated as a common girl.

Finnius,the Hufflepuff Captain,and Chaser Instructor,was a lovely guy,and kind at heart.He treated everyone with respect and kindness,and for a slight moment,Eva hoped that she could be in Hufflepuff with him.At least he would treat her better than Symon,she believed.

She never got to know how Gavin and Asher were,but both guys were quite charming as well.It seemed as Hogwarts had gotten the best men.And her father had informed her that later on,when she would be of age,she would have to learn how to allure these men,into falling in love with her.
"Women got the power..Just one look...and you have them..",he had told her.And Evangeline remembered these words perfectly.When the time came,she would have to prove to her family,that she was powerful.

As she reached the Quidditch Pitch,it had started to snow,but Eva wasn't affected by it.She sat down on the snow-covered grass,and started reading a book she had taken from the Library.She just loved reading romantic tales about the Princess,and her Knight,and she wondered,whether there would be a knight for her in the future.

Adelaine woke earlier than usual from a disturbing nightmare about the incident in the forest. She had been on the ship again, this time trying to reach all her friends on the other end; right as she was about to reach them, the siren appeared out of nowhere and attacked. Not being able to sleep after that, she jumped out of bed and headed downstairs.

After a quick breakfast of bread and honey with pumpkin juice, Adele decided to go for a walk. The smell of snow was in the air, and she was determined to be somewhere outside when it began to fall. Pulling her hood up, she headed for the Quidditch Pitch. She was surprised to find that she wasn’t alone; a Slytherin girl she recognized from classes was there too. Literally sitting in the snow.

“Aren’t you cold?” she asked as she walked over to her. “What book are you reading?”
